Individual Counseling

Individual counseling, or therapy, provides an opportunity for a person to meet one on one in a safe and confidential environment with a trained mental health professional who can help them through a challenging or overwhelming time in their life.

People in individual counseling can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. It can help them deal with personal issues such as anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, career changes, and more. Individual counseling can increase positive feelings and coping skills and help people grow into stronger, healthier versions of themselves.

Individual counseling can help in a variety of situations; from extremes such as improving your positive outlook on life to dealing with an overwhelming addiction. Are you encountering a major life change that feels daunting or overwhelming? Or, do you have an issue in your daily life that causes distress or interferes with your daily life? If so, then counseling may be just the answer you need to get your life back.

Many concerns are readily resolved with short-term counseling, while, other chronic or more complex concerns may require a longer recovery commitment.
